It worked out that the Farrs would be coming to visit the weekend after Blake was born. They arrived at our house on Friday morning (May 3rd) and got some pictures in the early morning light.
Our precious boy, less than 5 days old.
Blake had his first pediatrician appointment that afternoon. Everything checked out great!
He conked out on the way home. Love that squishy face.
Beautiful blonde boy. He slept a lot that weekend! Must have been making up for the last couple of nights at home.
Saturday we went on a walk to the park across the street. I was the slow poke hobbling along. I was ready to feel like myself again, but still had a lot of healing to go.
Josh & Lauren brought sweet Peyton over to see her buddy. He slept the whole time. Can’t wait til these guys can play together!
Brenda set up a little photo shoot in our kitchen where the light was the best. This picture cracks me up! What adults do to get babies to look.

Before Blake gets too big, I wanted to have a picture of him in comparison to his daddy’s basketball shoes. Of course he had to have his under armour shirt on.
