On Friday afternoon, there was a big HP launch event for the new single serve bottles. We got t-shirts, a plastic cup with lid & straw and temporary tattoos. The shirts were pretty cute -

From 2-4pm there was an HP “party” in the amphitheater. Complete with more t-shirts, HP product, surfing/bounce house game, spin art, various arcade type games, cotton candy, and caricature drawings.

Friday night we saw “Just Go With It” at 4:50 at the new theater. I remember the days when I would have wanted to go to the 10pm showing, but now days the earlier the better. The movie was not that good. Pretty dumb but what do you expect with Adam Sandler.
Saturday Chris worked 5-3 and I had lunch with my high school friend, Ty, at Gloria’s in Addison.
When Chris got home, I talked him into going to the Frisco Library! This is what we came home with -
All those wonderful books and my husband wants to rent Looney Tunes.
At least he made me a delicious quesadilla with my left over chicken from lunch. ;)
When Chris got home from work on Sunday, we headed up to the library again! 2 days in a row!
So there’s this coffee vending machine on the first floor -
Check out this menu. Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, cappuccinos…. for $1!
Now, it’s not a java chip frappuccino, but the cinnamon vanilla nut cappuccino was definitely worth $1.
I seriously love this place.
Chris deep in thought over The Economist magazine -
Our view from the 4th (top) floor of the library -
There was an Arts Festival out on the Frisco Square. Chris and I walked around it on Saturday and there were some amazing photographs and canvas photos. Too bad we didn’t have an extra $800 laying around. But we decided that someday we wanted to order large canvases of our own travel pictures.
A few pictures of the library -
Chris and I had packed up our bikes to ride around Warren Park after the library. Chris loves his new bike. We looked up and found a few geo caches. I really want to hide a few around our neighborhood!
And we are watching Celebrity Apprentice and Meko is helping me type my blog….
